Mark Ryan, Chairman & Co-Founder

Mark has worked in global, APAC and ANZ companies, including private & public IT, e-commerce, creative & media agencies for over 15 years. He has held a range of executive roles; he was one of the first ‘digital business specialists’ in a C-level role in the Australian office of global ad agency Havas, was the CEO of a public mobile ad-tech company that operated in ANZ & Southeast Asia, led the PMO of an ASX-listed enterprise technology company, was the COO of Australia's largest ad agency Ogilvy Sydney; and drove the growth of one of the first & largest SaaS CMS platforms in ANZ. Melanie Johnstone, Strategy Director

Melanie brings over 20 years of marketing and B2B technology experience to Splendid Suggestions. Described recently by a key client as “smarter than any Big 4 consultant, and with a heart of gold”, she has a genuinely unique skill for creating customer-centred B2B communications strategies that add value to the customer's experience whilst also driving commercial results for clients. Melanie has worked with dozens of brands & agencies spanning e-commerce, technology, media & I.T.; including Citrix, SAP, Telstra, & Microsoft.

Bianka Demets, Senior Account Director

Bianka is a seasoned client services professional. She has over 15 years’ experience working in senior marketing roles, providing world-class communications strategy and program delivery. Bianka is a specialist in B2B technology marketing, having worked client-side with leading global technology brands including PayPal, Mercator, Logica and Microsoft.


Britt Puhlmann, Senior Account Director

Britt has over fifteen years international experience on both client and agency side, with strong experience in local and regional marketing strategies for B2B technology brands. These programs covered digital marketing, social media, experiential, advertising, events, sponsorship and media. She has been an APAC Marketing Director at Accenture, and worked closely with global brands including DHL, BMW and Microsoft.


Ruth Holt, Senior Account Director

Ruth is a skilled and experienced Account Director and has worked in the UK, Europe, and the Asia Pacific. She secured a graduate traineeship at DDB in London straight out of university, and since, has provided project management and strategy for several world class agencies, including DDB and JWT, as well as smaller start-ups and not-for-profits. Ruth has worked for a diverse range of clients across a broad range of media channels, and she has a passion for always finding the best solution to the challenge at hand.


Nadine Wieczorek, Senior Account Director

Nadine is a skilled marketing professional with 18 years’ experience in leading and managing CRM, loyalty and retention marketing campaigns for well established, major brands. She is an expert in the technical, conceptual and content development of sales-driving collateral for print and digital and has a sound understanding of new creative and social trends. She has worked in various high-profile agencies in Australia and overseas, including Proximity, OgilvyOne, CX agency Lavender, and Rapp Germany, and is focused on brand engagement, customer growth and relationship management. 


Katrina Whitehead, Senior Copywriter

Kat is an experienced digital copywriter with 17 years’ agency experience. She writes for a diverse selection of clients, though specialises in IT marketing. She has been producing content for Microsoft, and Microsoft partners, for over ten years, and has also worked for some of Australia’s most prominent agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi, M&C Saatchi, Isobar, McCann Erickson, Y&R and Clemenger.   


Julia Rush, Operations Manager

Julia has worked in several of Australia's most awarded and respected digital agencies, including Havas and R/GA. Prior to running Splendid’s operational capabilities, Julia was a senior client-facing technical project manager. She is a certified Agile Scrum Master who is passionate about digital strategy, design, content and technology. Julia has worked on leading local and global brands including Telstra, Toyota, Australian Defence Force and Google.


Eamonn O'Hanlon, Tech R&D & Digital Delivery

Eamonn is an organised, technically-minded Digital Producer with a strong focus on translating clients' objectives into successful and engaging campaigns. He has considerable experience working for prominent Australian charities, as well as international start-ups. A reflection of his background in economics, finance and marketing, Eamonn brings a broad digital skillset and a strong analytical focus to his role at Splendid. He has worked in Australia's telecommunications sector, and also has extensive B2B experience.
